We are (almost) empty nesters, actively recreating OUR next chapter.

Years ago, my husband and I made the commitment, that when we started a family one, of us would always be home for them. Fast forward 25 years & many sacrifices later, we finally made it to the other side. We are proud & grateful for our 2 adult children who are now off chasing their own dreams.

Over the years, to ensure one us was always available for kid duty, we tried all kinds of approaches. Everything from working shift work opposite to one another, running a day home, operating a cleaning business…and the list goes on & on.

For the most part, my husband has worked rotational work out of town, which means him being away from home for long periods of time. Although we made it work, it was never easy. We always wished for a better way.

I have always wanted to be in business for myself. Having made several attempts at it over the years I definitely learned what I didn’t want, but more importantly what I really wanted. I had been searching for years to find a business that would supplement or replace our incomes. Something that would allow us freedom to travel & help us to fully enjoy our lifestyle now and into our retirement years. I wanted a business that wasn’t tied to a fixed schedule or a physical location. A business with low start up costs & high returns. Ideally an online business that could be operated from anywhere, with just a computer.

I found it so frustrating & disheartening how many online opportunities are really nothing more than get rich quick schemes & scams, most of them only interested in your money, not your success.
